Busy week–summer coming up!

Waterford, NY the beginning of the Erie Canal

We departed Kingston for Waterford, NY 66 miles up the Hudson.  We pushed off at 8:30 to take advantage of a tidal current push all the way to Albany, about 1.6 mph.
