At Anchor

Most of you know being “on the hook” is or favorite place. Well this is a special spot, right up there with our favorite GB anchorages or our spot “Up River” on the Pocomoke. Just south of Red “30” enter the oxbow, 10-20′ of water, just beautiful.

Beautiful Thing

It’s a beautiful thing when the weather cooperates and the forecast is true. Here we are about 40 nm off the coast of SC. 1650 RPM, 7.4 kts, 2 gph. Heading 232 M, wind 060 @ 4-6 kts, seas < 2′.

On Our Way South

This morning we were up early, left the Galley Stores Msrina in New Bern at 4:30. By 10am we are heading out to ho off shore. If the weather holds we should make Fernandina Beach by Sunday.

Burrrr!

Chilly here in New Bern, NC. Sammy man’s the fueling as we take on some diesel. We are here for a few days while I attend  a couple of meetings in CA. Then we hope to start south to warmer climes.
